About this Blog

AAAP (All About African Publishers)

Whatever you wanted to know about publishers, book, journal and magazines in Africa and the Diaspora. It will contain profiles and features on African publishing houses and the people behind them.  It will also include news and issues that impact African publishers and point you towards other sites and people in the publishing world of interest to African publishers.

I will write short pieces on publishers past and present that I hope will be of interest as well as the publishers and initiatives to watch out for.

Please note that at this time, the blog will not feature self-published authors, as this is not a blog for the self promotion of books.  I’ll continue to review this as I realise that some authors publish other writers too and that publishing models diversify and change.

Information and comments are welcome, although I will not always necessarily be able to respond personally.
